A Spring Fling

Spring Fling weekend is a great time for youth groups, ages 6 th – 12 th grades, to enjoy recreational activities, meet youth from other churches and participate in youth oriented worship. Students from college ministry teams will lead the groups in worship with thought-provoking skits and fast-paced Christian music.
Participants will learn team-building skills while getting acquainted with fellow youth. Time will be set aside for quiet reflection on scripture passages in small group settings. Participants will enjoy Christian fellowship as they study the Bible and explore how God is working in their lives. Dads, are you looking for a weekend where you and your children can get away for some quality time together? Rockfish is offering two weekends for just this purpose. This event is for dads and their children. This weekend provides the opportunities to spend time together hiking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, paddle boating, and enjoying evening campfires. Qualified staff will be here to supervise and assist in your activities with plenty of free time between scheduled activities. Stay in cabins, treehouses, yurts, or bring your own tent or trailer. 30th Annual Scout Camporee

This is a weekend to provide opportunities for scouts to draw apart from the daily routine and to discover the value of scouting and fellowship in God’s world. It’s a perfect opportunity to kick off the new scouting season in the jamboree like setting. Plan your scouting and share ideas with other troops/packs from all over North Carolina. There will be many activities to enjoy during the weekend; like the climbing wall, group challenge course, nature hikes, archery, service projects, worship service, and many others. Scout Camporee begins on Friday with check-in between 8:00pm-10:00pm and concludes with worship on Sunday.
