School Group Information
Rockfish Outdoor Center has a lot to offer your students. Come spend a day with us enjoying the outdoors while building relationships between you and your students and giving them a memory to cherish. We have schools that come out for the day either to focus on group building, “Discover Success”, or a day away from school having fun while trying new things, “Fun-Filled Day Trip”. Discover Success
“Discover Success” has been designed to target leadership, communication, group planning and decision making. Students who participate in “Discover Success” spend several hours learning valuable skills on the group challenge course. The group challenge course is a series of initiative exercises which present clearly defined problems. Each objective is designed to employ group skills and cooperation to successfully complete each challenge. This is a one day session for grades 6 through 12. Your day at Rockfish includes 5 hours or less of group challenge activities. Cost is $10.00 per person per day or if you would like Rockfish to provide you with lunch, the cost would be $15.50 per person per day.
Fun-Filled Day Trip
With 400 acres and 1 1/2 miles of Lakefront property, there are countless opportunities for fun and recreation at the Rockfish Outdoor Center. We welcome you to bring your school group to the center to enjoy our facilities. Your day at Rockfish includes choice of activities totaling 5 hours or less. Activities include canoeing, swimming (May-September), kayaking, nature hikes, archery, paddle boating, hayrides, and the group challenge course. This is a one day session for grades 1 through 12. Cost is $8.00 per person per day or if you would like Rockfish to provide your group with lunch, the cost would be $13.50 per person per day.
