31st Annual Rockfish
Boy Scout Camporee

Available Date: September 11-13, 2009   Cost: $10.00 per person

This is a weekend to provide opportunities for scouts to draw apart from the daily routine and to discover the value of scouting and fellowship in God’s world.  It’s a perfect opportunity to kick off the new scouting season in the jamboree like setting.  Plan your scouting and share ideas with other troops/packs from all over North Carolina.  There will be many activities to enjoy during the weekend; like the group challenge course, nature hikes, archery, service projects, worship service, and many others.  Scout Camporee begins on Friday with check-in between 8:00pm-10:00pm and concludes with worship on Sunday.

Cancellation, Refunds, and Returned Checks:

A $25 processing charge is made for returned checks, cancellations, and refunds.

Insurance: Illness or injury needing medical treatment will be the responsibility of the camper’s family insurance plan.  Rockfish does carry secondary insurance up to $1,500.00.   Any expenses incurred in excess of this amount will remain the responsibility of the injured person, his or her family.

Open to All:

All camps operated by the North Carolina United Methodist Outdoor & Camping Ministries, Inc. are open to everyone without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, religious preference or ability.  Our outdoor ministry is committed to serving persons on an individual basis to provide a meaningful camp experience.

 

Treehouses:

There is an additional charge of $2.00 per person to stay in the treehouses over the weekend.

 

Camp sites:

Requests for camping sites are on a first come first served basis. This is based on the completion of your application and securing of your deposit.
