Camp Rockfish is a living laboratory of Christian faith! Our goal is to share the love of Christ and nurture everyone to grow in His grace. We celebrate love, life, laughter and the Lord.
The Rockfish experience is Christian education in a community of co-ed groups, each with two trained counselors in a family atmosphere. Experience nights in a tree house, the thrill of white water, rockclimbing, skateboarding, archery, group challenge course, basketball, mud walk, baseball, high ropes course, volleyball, nature, zipline, swimming, and more. Our staff are caring and growing Christians who enjoy sharing their faith and giving of themselves. They receive two full weeks of comprehensive training and all are certified in first aid and CPR. Rockfish is located 15 minutes southwest of Fayetteville.

How To Register For Camp
There are three ways for register for camp. Online is the preferred and quickest way for you to register for camp. You may also fax an application to Rockfish or send it by snail mail. To register for camp online, click the " Summer Camp Registration " button to register online or simply click here. After you submit, your application online, you will receive an immediate confirmation which will contain important information that you will want to save. You and your camper will receive an email/ letter telling you more about the camp you are registered along with attachments for Health Form, Pickup/Release form, Express Check-in Form and Climbing Wall / High Ropes Permission Slip. Please notify the camp immediately if there is any error in your registration. If you do not have access to the internet, please call Rockfish for a packet to be sent to you through the postal service. There is no provision for registration by telephone.
Waiting List:
When a preferred session is full, you have the option of being placed on a waiting list. When a space becomes available, those on the waiting list will be called in the date order that applications were received until the space is filled. Requests for refund of deposits for voluntary waiting list cancellations may be made in writing or by e-mail to the camp to which the application was submitted.
Attending More than One Session:
Many campers choose to attend more than one session of camp. This can be easily accomplished while you're registering online. There is no provision for campers attending more than one session in succession to remain in camp between sessions. Campers must be picked up at the regular checkout time and may return during the regular check-in time. The camps will be happy to suggest motel accommodations and area attractions for families that pickup campers for the interim night between sessions.
Sheltermate Assignments:
A vital part of the summer camp experience is to develop new friendships. Sheltermate assignments are made at each camp with this goal in mind. While we cannot guarantee your preference, following these guidelines will help us to honor your wishes: (a) requests may include only one other child of the same age/grade/gender; (b) requests must be mutual and requested by both applicants; and (c) applicants must request the same sessions and dates. Since shelter mate assignments are made at each camp just prior to the day of arrival, this information is not available in advance.
Payment of Fees:
A deposit of $100.00 is required at the time of registration. Included in the deposit amount is a $50 non refundable processing fee. Full payment is due by June 1. If full payment is not received by June 1st, you will lose your deposit and the space that had be held for you camper.
Express Check-in:
Express Check-in Advantage is a program created to help speedup your check-in on Sundays. This program will enable campers and their parents/guardians to bypass the check-in line and go directly to their camper's cabins to move-in and meet counselors. To bypass the waiting line, you need to turn-in all forms: health form (completely filled out), balance due, store money, and pickup slip into the Rockfish office by May 30. If your child has prescription medication then you still must see the nurse to check in any medications.
Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellations may be submitted in writing at any time. However, refunds will only be issued for cancellations made prior to May 1 , except for medical reasons supported by a letter from an appropriate medical doctor. The $50 processing fee that is a part of the deposit is non refundable.
No-Shows:
When a registered camper does not show up, the camp will attempt to fill the space from any existing waiting list. This is rarely successful. When the space cannot be filled, the parents will be billed for and expected to pay the full fee. Transfers between site (Rockfish Camp & Retreat Center, Camp Don Lee or Camp Chestnut Ridge) are not available.
Method of Payment:
Online registration deposit is to be made by credit card. Final payment may be made by check, credit card, or money order two weeks prior to arrival, and sent to Rockfish Camp & Retreat Center, 226 Camp Rockfish Rd., Parkton, NC 28371. This form may be printed and mailed or emailed, but not faxed, as faxing is considered insecure and puts your credit card information at risk. Please make checks or money orders out to Rockfish Camp & Retreat Center or Camp Rockfish.

A $25 handling charge is made for returned checks.

Campers typically are transported to camp by their parents. Car pooling is the responsibility of the parents or guardians. Those who plan to come by other means and may need to be picked up by the camp at an airport, rail or bus station, need to make those arrangements directly with the camp at least two weeks prior to the session.
